Meet Barb

Barb completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Elation Centre Yoga. Her training consisted of practices in the following techniques:  Asana, Pranayama, Yogic Lifestyle, Ethics and Philosophy. She also completed additional training to specialize in teaching Chair Yoga for seniors. For the past 8 years, Barb has taught seniors at community centers and retirement Homes. She believes in encouraging participants to engage in their emotional and physical well-being, and in teaching proper alignment, core work, stretches, breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation. She also likes to share short readings that have inspired her, with a hope to inspire the group’s overall sense of well-being as they move on with their daily lives.
