Lunch Bunch: Let's Get Together
This is a social dining program. Participants meet at a local restaurant each month to enjoy a meal, friendly conversation and togetherness.

This program runs the last Thursday of each month
 

 

Friday's at the Forge: Fun, Friendship and Food

Join Liam and friends at the Olde Forge for a Friday Luncheon Program. This program is offered to seniors who may be socially isolated or who are living independently but have care needs. Luncheon begins with welcome/social time followed by a hot lunch and finishes the day with entertainment. A user fee and transportation fee is charged. This program is able to serve a maximum of 16 clients. This is a wonderful program that really develops strong community connections and supports. Some clients have been attending for over 10 years! 

Cost: $15 
Transportation: $12 (Round Trip)

Movie Matinee

Let's go to the movies! Join us at Britannia United Church  for a monthly movie matinee. Registration is required.

Senior Outing to the Sugarbush

Join the Olde Forge, on a Recreation Stay-cation! Once a month we will be getting together to explore all that the National Capital Region has to offer. From the Arts to History to Exploring the Great Outdoors, there is a new and exciting experience waiting for you in our Nation’s Capital!

Fees

Monthly fees entitles participants to unlimited access to most programs. Subsidies are available to those who qualify.

Our current recreational programs costs just $32.00 per month (virtual) or $40 in-person for unlimited classes.

 TMC (Tone Muscle Conditioning)
TMC is a comoplete body workout, cardio, weights and stretch. A yoga mat is required for this class.

Olde Forge Walking Group

Can we mix social with fitness? Yes! Get your daily steps in and meet new friends with the Olde Forge Walking Group. This group walks outdoors in the Spring, Summer, Fall and moves to an indoor facility during the slippery winter months. Fitness, Friendship and Fun!

FAQs

Are the instructors certified?

All Olde Forge fitness programs are lead by certified fitness instructor.

Is there equipment available to use during the class?

Clients must bring their own equipment

Who can I discuss any concerns with?

To facilitate the smooth operation of programs and address any of your concerns to our recreation program assistant, Deborah Davis, who is available on site at Woodroffe United Church during scheduled programs.

Are refreshments available?

Due to COVID restrictions, refreshments are no longer avaialble.
